Ancient Refectory of the Canons of the Cathedral

Inaugurated by Cardinal Luis Martinez Sistach, Archbishop of Tarragona.

Sponsored by AIRTEL (Vodaphone) who also donated the Santa Tecla Marble enlargement of MARIA to the Catherdral.

The artwork MARIA has been the object of a presentation text by Josep Marti Aixalà – Canon of the Cathedral of Tarragona – Secretary of the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archeology of Rome- herby published and by ARS SACRA.

At the opening, the singer Dunia Hedreville with her chant gave voice to the sculpture and the poet Carles Duarte read his poetry: Mother of God after Guido Dettoni.

The exhibition was visited by a delegation of the television of the Republic of Bénin, West Africa.
