One white resin 33 cm enlargement

lampedusa-2017-guido-dettoni-01

One white resin 33 cm enlargement is permanently exhibited in Lampedusa Polyclinic since 2017.
The sculpture was donated by the art collector Titti Rigo de Righi in recognition of the care given to the refugees of the 2013 shipwreck by doctors, inhabitants, and volunteers of this Italian island, thanks to the interest shown in the work of Guido Dettoni by the Commissioner of Palermo, Antonio Candela, and the director of the Policlinico, Dr. Pietro Bartolo.

This sculpture is one of the seven copies limited edition made of the handheld MARIA Icon, enlarged to 31 cm | 12 in sculpture height, cast in white resin with marble powder.
